API invited to HINO Motors manufacturer plant in Silao

API informs that the past December 7th. the General Director of API Manzanillo José Julián Dip Leos, visit the installations of HINO Motors, subsidiary of the TOYOTA motor company in charge of the truck assembly division.

HINO Motors as a proactive action invited all the members of its international logistic trade chain, and from the Manzanillo Port community attended representatives from SSA Mexico, NYK (shipping line), its custom broker and transport company, and this Port Administration in order to discuss the way of improving each internal process adding value to its logistic chain offering a swifter merchandise movement within the Port.

After a detailed session of deep analysis of the roles and interactions of each member, the hosts offered a guided tour through the production lines, giving the opportunity to the guests to understand its direct contribution in the assembly process.

It is extremely illustrative to do this kind of visits because it offers the unique opportunity to have direct contact with the needs of our final clients, in order for us to adapt towards their priorities, all this, part of an Port community agenda focused on personalized attention.

API will continue diversifying and strengthening its commercial and promotion programs, with different efforts such as these visits, just to mention a few, having as an objective to promote the benefits and achievements form this, the number one Port in Mexico.
