The Mexican Ministry of Agriculture, (SAGARPA) authorized Fumigation chamber
API informs that Frigorifico de Manzanilo, S.A. de C.V. gained in compliance with the NOM-022-FITO-1995 a year long certificate authorized by the National Service of Sanity and Agro alimentary Quality (SENASICA) which depends on the Mexican Ministry of Agriculture, Cattle, Rural Development, Fish and Food (SAGARPA).
The authorized fumigation chamber will offer to the clients’ fumigation procedures with Methyl Bromide, Aluminum Phosphide, aspersion and nebulization.
The imports of vegetables arriving to the Manzanillo Seaport will have a higher level of certainty, for one advantage is that in case a plague or living bug is found, the merchandise after the fulfilling the adequate inspections and fumigations will be able to enter the country instead of being returned to its country of origin.
