New Direction in API Manzanillo

Manzanillo Port Authority reports the appointment from February 28 this year of Ms. Flor de Maria Pedrero Canaveral as CEO of this entity. After leading for four years, the Port Authority of Chiapas, Flor de Maria Pedrero Cañaveral took over as general manager of Puerto Manzanillo, the second largest port in income generation and the first movement of general cargo. Flor de Maria Canaveral is the first woman director of an API, during his tenure at the port area of ​​Chiapas, managed major projects that allowed the growth of the Port of Chiapas, among which the improvement in the arrival of cruise ships, the revival of movement of containers with the first trade route from Puerto Chiapas, the shipping Hapag Lloyd, among others.



The trajectory of Ms Cañaveral Pedrero has been since 2005 as marketing manager at the Port of Dos Bocas and Chiapas since 2010 as Director General of API Chiapas, has extensive experience in the port sector having been at the forefront of Directorate of Puerto Chiapas increased cruise ship arrivals and the beginning of the movement of shipping containers with Hapag Lloyd and completed the installation of specialized terminals. Lic Pedrero Cañaveral is the first woman director in a commercial port and now the first woman director in Mexico's most important port in the flow of containerized cargo. Lic Cañaveral Pedrero has expressed its commitment to the development of ports, maintain close communication with the port community and coordination with the three levels of government.
